どうも継続が Phrasal verbs 4 (Unit 67) らしい。もの凄くハンパなところですが頑張ります。

ええと

• Somebody did something + I saw this -> I saw somebody do something
• Somebody was doing something + I saw this -> I saw somebody doing something

という用法について。あとそれぞれの違いは済ませたか途中か、とのこと。どっちでも良い場合もあるのか。そして see, hear 以外にもいくつかの感じる系の同士で同じ用法を適用らしい。

-ing clauses

• 同じ時間に二つの事が起きた時、-ing clause が使えます

• 何か他の action の間にある action が起きた時にも -ing が使えます (長い方のために -ing を使う)

• while または when の後にも -ing が使えます

• 他の action の前にある action が起きたとき、最初の action のために having (done) を使います

• 何かを説明するため、あるいは理由を説明するために -ing clause を使うことができます

Countable and uncoundtable

• some と any はどっちでも使えます

• many と few は複数形の countable で使えます

• sone と any は uncountable で使えます

• 飲み物は普通 uncountable ですが一杯二杯って数えるよね

単数複数云々は難しいな。。

Countable nouns with a/an and some

• singular countable をそのまま (without a/the/my etc.) 使ってはだめ
• どんなものなのかを説明するために a/an を使います
• some を countable noun で使うのは二つのケイスがある
• some = a number of / a few of / a pair of
• some = some but not all

a/an and the

文脈の中で何らかの紹介があって初めて the 使え、ってアレですね。

• あるいは specific thing というソレで the は使う
• あるいはそれが何か、がはっきりしている場合
• 週に一回、とか日に三回、などの言い方における a の使い方
